Praise the Lord!

The Health Professional Ministry is one of several auxiliaries at NCACM.  The goal of this ministry is to provide current health education to the members at NCACM and the surrounding community.  We are comprised of six members.  These members include one medical doctor, three nurses, one respiratory therapist and one paramedic.  We have a wide array of experience and knowledge which allows us to do the work of the Lord at our church and be able to serve our members.

One of the main duties is to provide blood pressure screenings.  We offer these screenings for thirty minutes after Sunday morning services and on an as needed basis.  We log the blood pressures for the church members so that they are available during regular doctor appointments. 

Every fifth Sunday is Health Professionals Sunday at NCACM.  We provide health education on a variety of topics to cater to the needs of the church congregation and the presentation is followed by a question and answer session. We are in our third year of providing a Health Fair at NCACM.  Numerous vendors are brought in from different community settings to highlight what they do and to provide many needed health screenings.  The Health Professionals Ministry is pleased to be a part of NCACM.
