The ministry of New Covenant Assembly Christian Ministry is very unique in many ways. The founders of the ministry, Pastor and First Lady Hardy are leaders by example in upholding the biblical truth of the bible in the church of God. They provide everyone in the church with an opportunity to gain knowledge through teaching and preaching of salvation, obedience and service unto the Lord.
The associate ministers are saved to serve, assist our pastor and support his leadership. The associate ministers follow the leadership of Dr. Hardy. We help him in areas that require the minister’s assistance. Unity is the key among us and it helps to promote harmony with the pastor and among the saints. Unity is encouraged in Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus:
Ephesians 4:1-3(NLT) -“Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each others faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.”The consideration and understanding of the pastor and saints is very important for the associate ministers. “The spirits are subject to the prophets” or pastor, especially in the church.
We deliver the word of truth to encourage the saints, to be in one accord with the pastor and the vision of the ministry.The Bible states in Proverbs29:18 (KJV),18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Our service includes visiting the sick and shut-in, the incarcerated, witnessing to lost souls and anything the pastor deems necessary or appoints us to do. Our role as leaders and servants is to help ease the burden of the ministry with our giving in offerings, time and talents as unto the Lord.Loyalty is also a key and obedience mixed with humility helps to submit to leadership and better assist with the progress of this ministry.
